OneNote - app to use for note taking

Modified on Tue, 16 Sep at 11:17 AM

  • OneNote is a Microsoft app you can use to record your own notes. No-one else has access to this area although you can share pages of notes with other people, if you want.

Notes are automatically saved as you type so there's no need to save them.

Notebooks are organised in sections and then pages.

There's more information about OneNote and how to use it on these Microsoft pages

To open OneNote from the REF Hub

  • Click on the 9 dots in the top left-hand corner of the REF Hub screen
  • Click on OneNote
  • If you can't see that icon, click on More apps and then click on the OneNote icon
  • When you first open OneNote, you'll need to click on Blank notebook to create a new notebook
  • Once you have a notebook you can click on it to open it, (click on the name of your notebook to open it)
