Virtual meeting set-up

Modified on Thu, 2 Oct at 3:08 PM

REF virtual meetings are set up in the following way:

  • No recording or transcripts are allowed, (these features have been disabled)
  • Chat feature: be careful about what you use the Chat feature for in a meeting. Don’t put anything confidential in there especially where there is a conflict of interest. All invited participants will be able to see the chat, whether they attend the meeting or not. Also, if the meeting was set up by the REF Delivery team, they will be able to see the contents of the Chat as well. Anything you put into the Chat area should be something you would be happy to share publicly.
  • All attendees, except the panel executive, will be held in the meeting lobby when they first join a Teams meeting. Any member of the executive can click to allow someone into the meeting.
